All weaved out!!

Elliot:
He was back to being a good boy on the weavies today :D we managed to have me walking on the left AND right, and then had recalls from behind one jump - he struggled when i tried to do l/r with him behind the jump but i think this was because he was tired so we did one more good one hald way between the jump and weaves and left it at that but will start from there next week and really work it up with the jump before!! We did a little bit of contact work but i forgot the perspex (oops) so we used a pringles lid again and he wasn't quite as clear on the fact he had to do long nose touches but it was good as eventually there will be no targets so he has to get used to doing long nose touches on different things!! So we worked on trying to get him to do the long nose touch straight away, rather than dithering for a bit first!! We finished on a little bit of jumping which was much better than last week although he still went under a few jumps.

Jemma:
We started on a bit of jump work which went really well, we then really worked on her weaves today too and found that actually it is not so much my speed that causes problems but the angle she enters the weaves and her speed. So we worked a lot on this, with different jump combinations before the weaves and then some on just the angles, I think my plan with this is the angles has to be what i really work on!!
