Dog Vegas

In the Agility and Jumping classes the dogs got two runs with their best one counting;

Elliot:

Helter Skelter
Well I dont think I handled this very well, not really sure why or wot makes me say that but it just didnt seem to flow right and he ran round one jump and under a few.

Jumping
He did well in this but knocked one pole both times, the same pole!! It was the pole after the one after the tunnel and I rekon he mis-strided the one after the tunnel and didn't manage to correct himself by the next jump as it was apparently his back legs that caught it!!

Agility
Well, he was naughty, not even a hint that he knew what contacts are and that he is supposed to stop at the bottom but then it did go dog walk tunnel!!! I put him back three times and he still did it!!! On the first run I then just did some jumps to the finish but on the second run he got taken out!!

Jemma:

Agility
First round she knocked a pole on an oddly angled jump and then I hung back to much so she came out before the end of the weaves, so I took her back and made her do the two jumps weaves again and didnt hang back!! Second run she had a pole down on the straight because I dropped my arm, I worked the badly angled jump much better and she kept it up, and I really raced her through the weaves and she did them beautifully :D Shame she didnt keep the pole up as she was 2 seconds quicker than the winner!!

Helter Skelter
She did a beautiful clear round although I felt she was a little bit slow, although she finished 3rd, only just over 1 second slower than the winner (which was BrennBrenn!!!!!:D)

Jumping
Clear first time round although again not that fast, finished 8th though, again just over 1 second slower than the winner!!! Second round she was really naughty and went behind me on the pull through part of the course and jumped the jump the wrong way, very naughty!!!!!!!!!!!!

All in all not a bad day and I was reasonably pleased with them both, quite enjoyed having two goes at each class, not that we did much better on any of our second runs!!
